Charlie was listed on the 1900 Census for Hampton, Bradford County, Florida with his parents as their 8 year old son, Charlie Manire.

Around June 8, 1917 Charlie signed a World War I Civilian Draft Card in Baker County, Florida. He was as a 24 years old being born February 26, 1893. That's a 2 years difference from his Grave Stone date of birth. At that time he was living in MacClenny, Florida. He was listed as being a man of Medium Height and Medium Build with Dk. Brown hair and Light Blue eyes. He was working a standard job with a Printing Office in MacClenny, Florida. He had no dependents.
 
Charlie married Bessie Della Cloversettle in 1930 in Alachua County, Florida. She was born April 29, 1915 in Thressa, Bradford County, Florida to Fredrick Cloversettle and Hettie Idella Wynn.
 
Bessie's sisters, Freda Lu Rena and Stella Sterling Cloversettle, each married one of Charlie's brothers. Their sister Ruby May Cloversettle married Charlie's Nephew.

Charlie married Louise Lara Herrin sometime after 1938. She was born about 1911. Of this marriage they had 1 known child, a son named Charles Edward Manire, Jr.
 
I talked to Fern, Granddaughter of Charlies' Brother Thomas. She told me either Earl or Charlie was deaf. Thomas use to talk to him using his hands to make the letters... kind of like fingerspelling in sign language is my guess. Don't know if he was born deaf or lost his hearing somehow. Anyways, I found this article in a Keywest Newspaper on Ancestry.com. It leads me to Charlie rather than Earl...
 

 Charlie died April 1, 1948. He was buried in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, Bradford County, Florida with his parents and siblings.
