He was listed on the 1910 Census for Precinct 7, Hampton, Bradford County, Florida with his parents as C. L. Manire, their 9 year old son.

 

Cecil married Stella Sterling Cloversettle, daughter of Fredrick Cloversettle and Hettie Idella Wynn, June 7, 1925 in Alachua County, Florida. Stella was born July 17, 1902 in Thressa, Bradford County, Florida. Of this marriage they had 2 known children: John Kent Manire and Cecil Fred Manire.

 

Stella's sisters Bessie and Freda, each married a brother of Cecil's. Their sister Ruby married Cecil's nephew Mozelle Kent McGruder.
